Women In Transition
Leader: Pamela Lape

This group is for women in transition. The change one is going in through may be personal — for example an empty nest, new motherhood, retirement, or a new marriage. It may also be work-related: possibly reentering the workplace, beginning to work for the first time, or preparing to leave a position or retire. If thetransition one is going through is voluntary or thrust upon one, the stages one must navigate are the same. Each requires resilience and requires adjustments. In addition, all transitions require that one see herself in a new way.

The focus of this workshop is on relating your story, support , education and guidance through these challenging times so that you can live a joyful, productive life in the midst of change.

The group consists of ten 1 1/2-hour meetings. Cost: $15 per meeting. It is inderwritten by St. Lukes Episcopal Church, Darien, Connecticut.
